It was good to see a lot of families return to competition in mild conditions today.  Quite a few PBs were achieved, I am sure.  Our next competition is on Wednesday evening (25th) from 6:00pm to make up for the lost opportunities from washouts before Christmas.

Training started again on the 18th January and will resume on 1st February at 5:00pm.

Good Luck to all of our athletes who are competing in State Relays on Saturday 28th at Albert Park.

Relay training will be held on Monday evening from 6:00pm but NOT on Friday night as previously advised. 

Remember, it has been very hot and it is important for everyone to stay well hydrated.

Region Track & Field 2012

Entries are now due for Region Track & Field   - Entry Form  

SATURDAY 18th & SUNDAY 19th  FEBRUARY,  2012

Venue Information......... Diamond Valley, Greensborough 

Parent Timetables will be distributed in the lead up to the event.

 

Cost is $6 per event, maximum number of events = 4

Please return your entry form and money to your Club Team Manager this Saturday, 17th December 2011.

Late entries will be accepted on Wednesday 21st December at the Centre Committee meeting (7:30 - 10:30pm).

 

Athletes in the U7 & U8 age groups can win medals.

Athletes in the U9 to U15 age groups can qualify or progress to State Championships which will be held in Bendigo on the weekend of 24th & 25th March 2012.

 

There is a qualifying criteria to enter this event.

Athletes must have participated in 50% of AVAILABLE competition days prior to 31st December AND be able to meet the Walk time or HJ starting height if wishing to enter these two events (details on second page of entry form).
